Day 40- Another Basement Workout Yesterday

Yesterday was day 40 in my training.  I did another workout in my basement that I made up.  I wasn't really feeling it but I pushed through it anyway.  

          Week 6, Day 40- Saturday, July 20, 2013
           Workout: 4 Rounds for time-
                          20 Mountain Climbers
                          20 Squats (on pods)
                          20 Sit Ups
                          30 Leg Raises (both legs)
                          40 Jumping Jacks
                          15 Chair Dips
                          15 DB Swings (15lbs)
                  Goal: To Finish!
                  Actual Time:  24:37

After I completed the workout I added tabata planks.  :30 of work, :20 of rest.  I went from a regular plank to a plank on the right and then a plank on the left and I did 2 rounds.  I did the squats on these little pod things that Adam got me for Christmas a few years ago (I'll include a picture).  I was really bummed that I couldn't run...I really didn't want to do this workout, it took a lot of will power to make myself do it.  But I'm glad I did!  :oD

I've decided that I'm going to go running tomorrow!!!  This makes me super freaking HAPPY!!!!!!!  I haven't ran since last Tuesday and it's killing my soul!  Lol, not really...but I need to get back to it!  My legs feel good.  I also picked up a new pair of Asics GT-2000's to try out.  I'm hoping they keep the shin splints at bay (or whatever the hell was going on with my legs!).  Anyway, here's the whole 2 pictures I took yesterday:
