Day 5 and 6..

Yesterday was day 5 in my training.  It was supposed to be a cross training day but when I went to go get my bike out of the garage both tires were flat!  I decided to do my 4 mile run that I was supposed to do today, instead.  I took a rest day today (day 6) because my left hip is sore from the 4 miles last night.

Week 1, Day 6 - Sunday, June 16, 2013
          Rest Day!

My first mile started out GREAT!  I was 6 seconds away from a new PR.  For mile 2 I decided to slow it down to catch my breath a little since I pushed so hard to get a good first mile. Mile 3 wasn't so hot...I got a huge cramp on my left side just under my ribs.  It felt awful so I had to walk a little but I'm ok with that!  Mile 4 was pretty good.  My goal was to finish in under 40 minutes and I completed the 4 miles is 38:30.  Yay me!  Today I was supposed to cross train since I missed it yesterday but I ran out of time so it's a rest day for me. My left hip is really sore for some reason.  I also worked all day and then took Adam to dinner for Father's Day.  We went to Outback...it was delicious!  I'm tired so I'm going to bed.  Thanks for reading!  :o)
