27 Weeks and Counting!

I'm 27 weeks and 4 days pregnant.  :o)  I feel like time is dragging ass so bad!  Let me recap since my last post (I've been slackin'!).  On Valentine's Day I had a doctor appointment to go over the ultrasound that I had back on January 17th.  I had a low lying placenta and the ultrasound technician didn't say anything at all about it during the u/s.  Adam and I thought everything was ok until we went to the check up appointment and the doctor told us about the placenta being low.  He informed me that if the placenta did not move into the upper portion of my uterus that I would have to have a c section.  He also told me that I wasn't allowed to have intercourse or do any extensive exercise because it could cause the placenta to bleed.  He ordered another ultrasound for me at 26 weeks and the glucose test.  I had my ultrasound on March 9th with a somewhat good outcome.  The placenta has moved up but our little Adalynn is sitting in a breeched position.  The possibility of me having a c section is still on the table.  If she doesn't move I will have to have one.  I am so thankful that the placenta moved up, now I'm just hoping that she decides to flip so I can deliver naturally.    I went in for my glucose test on March 13th and also went over the ultrasound with the doctor.  He said everything looks good with the baby, she's in the 50th percentile and weighed about 2 pounds at the time of the ultrasound.  I passed the glucose test but was told I had low iron so they asked me to take an iron supplement daily.  I started taking it that day and everything is going well.  :o)  My feet just recently started swelling a little.  I've been trying to elevate them as much as possible and Misty let me borrow a foot bath/massager thing that I used tonight.  It worked pretty good, it felt nice!  Her and I went and got a mani and pedi yesterday, it was awesome.  I'm planning on going back again right before my shower so I can have nice feet and hands for it.  I can't believe it but my baby shower is just over 3 weeks away!  It's coming up SO fast!  Chels and I have to get together soon to finish the favor boxes.  They're so stinkin' cute, they have Hello Kitty stickers and ribbons on them.  Mom and I started painting her room this passed Sunday, I can't wait until it's all finished!  Anyway, I'm going to go elevate my feet and watch the tube before Adam gets home from work.  I will leave you with some of the most recent ultrasound pictures of our little Adalynn Kathleen.  :o)  <3
