GIRL!!! We are SO excited!!! Last Monday Adam asked me what my final verdict was on the sex of our baby. I said girl and he still thought it was a boy. So last Tuesday, 1/17, we got up nice and early for our ultrasound appointment. I made it for 8:00am because I didn't want to have to wait all day, I wanted to do it first thing. Lol. We got to the hospital and into the room with the ultrasound tech and she asked us what we thought the baby was. I said girl, Adam said boy. The u/s tech thought it was a girl, too, and that was the first thing she checked. She said "Yep, it's a girl!" :oD My friend Grace told me that I should drink some orange juice before the appointment so the baby would be active and moving around. The u/s tech said we had a wiggle worm on our hands, she was moving around all over the place! She was putting her arms up by her face and then putting them straight out in front of her. The u/s tech got a great snapshot of her hand open in one of the pictures.
It was like she was waving at us! :oD I can't wait to hold her and kiss those little fingers! Just this passed week I have been feeling her move a lot more. Before I would just feel her when I laid down to go to sleep at night. Now I will be sitting on the couch or something and I feel her poking me. Before it just felt like little butterflies but now I can actually feel little pokes and kicks. :o) COOLEST FEELING EVER! I can't wait until she's bigger and Adam can feel her kicking, he's going to flip! I'll leave you with a few more ultrasound pictures of our baby girl, Adalynn Kathleen. :o)
