I started my half marathon training 50 days ago...it feels like I started last week! Maybe it feels like that because I'm actually enjoying myself! Today called for 4.5 miles on the good old training plan. I forgot to eat breakfast before I left and today's run was a struggle! I ended up getting a PR but I felt like I was running SO SLOW the whole time. I was having trouble keeping my breathing in check which is kind of odd for me. I'm not happy with my time for mile 4 but I'm not going to dwell on it. I'm proud of my PR for 4.5 miles, though! I'll just have to push harder on Thursday, I'm doing another 4.5 mile run then, too. :o) Anywho, here's today's stats:

I have been meaning to mention why I haven't been using my HRM...the damn thing doesn't pick up my heart rate anymore. I tried replacing the battery in the sensor and it worked for 3 runs then stopped working again. Does anyone have any tips for me? I'm going to try washing the strap in the washing machine and see if that helps.
Adam tried to photobomb us...he was too slow. Lol
She's always so happy to see me when I come home!
She wanted to eat my Clif Builder bar...I'm addicted to the peanut butter ones!
