"Lady Like"

Happy Saturday!  I spent the morning applying at more jobs.  This afternoon I decided to relax a little and went shopping.  I've been eyeballing this lipstick and I decided I should just get it.  It's by Revlon, "Pink Sugar".  I also got a lip liner by Maybelline "Toast", and a new nail polish, by Essie, "Lady Like".  I just got done painting my nails and I think I'm obsessed with this stuff.  It was the first Essie polish that I've ever bought and I LOVE the consistency of it.  It went on very smooth, no major issues.  So that's a plus.  :o)  Right now I'm waiting for Adam to get home from work.  I have no idea when he will be off, but I'm hoping it's soon because I'm getting hungry for din din.  He is working 10am-'volum'e today...so he will hopefully be off by 8 at the latest.  'Volume' means if it's slow he could get off between 5 and 8pm depending on how busy it is.  I know he was a little upset today because it was the first UofM Football game of the season.  I have it recording on the DVR but right now there is a weather delay.  Hopefully they start back up again soon.  We are playing Western Michigan and we are winning...but hopefully they don't have to call it.  It's raining in Ann Arbor, but it's not raining here yet.  I'm hoping for storms, I hope it cools off!  It's about 95 degrees today...so freakin' hot.  But this week it's supposed to cool off, Monday (Labor Day) is supposed to be in the 60's.  :o)  I'm excited for the week, it's my birthday a week from today!  Adam has a hair appointment scheduled for me on Tuesday.  Usually my best friend Mary does my hair, but I have complained recently about missing going to an actual salon to get my hair done.  Mary just does it in my living room.  So I have to pick a style and a color.  I'm really excited to do something different!  I think I might cut it pretty short!  I haven't decided yet, though.  Decisions, decisions.  Ha!
