Birthday Festivities!

Saturday, September 10th was my 27th birthday.  Adam had to work that day so him and I celebrated my birthday last Tuesday, the 6th.  He made an appointment for me to get my hair done at the salon that day, at 3pm.  I LOVE IT.  Usually my friend Mary does it in my living room, I haven't been to a salon in at least 5 years.  It was nice to go and not have to worry about getting bleach on my floor or having my tub be a different color from the dye.  Before I went to the salon Adam gave me my gifts (which he wrapped in pink wrapping paper with black polka dots!  SO EFFING CUTE!!!).  He bought me an iPad!  I was shocked, it's so awesome!  He got me a screen protector, a case and a stylus for it.  It's the big one, the 32GB!  I'm in love with it, it's so fun.  We've both been using a lot, playing games on it and looking stuff up.  It's pretty sweet.  After I got back from the salon he took me to Olive Garden, which I love.  We both got our usual food (Chicken Alfredo and he got Braised Beef and Tortellini).  They messed his up by adding spinach to it, but he didn't mind it.  They gave us one of our beers for free because of the mix up.  :o)

On my actual birthday I went to Cedar Point with Chelsey.  It was so fun!  We got there around noon, when the park opened and there was hardly anyone there.  We went to the back of the park first and rode the Maverick.  We walked right on practically every ride.  The only time we had to wait was because we wanted the front seat on the Raptor and The Millennium Force.  The longest wait was only about 20 minutes, too.  It was great.  We rode the Raptor twice, The Maverick twice, The Wicked Twister twice, The Millennium Force three times...the other rides we rode once.  We thought it might rain, there was a 60% chance, but it only rained while we were on the way there, so we got lucky.

On Sunday, September 11th, I went to the Tigers game with Mom and Dad.  We ended up winning, 2-1 against the Twins.  Adam had to work again, so he couldn't go with us.  :o(  I still had fun though, we went to the Lager House afterwards to eat.  After dinner we went to Moe and Phil's for cake and ice cream.  All in all it was a great birthday weekend.  I really miss my twin brother, though.  We usually do all of the birthday stuff together, but since he lives in Texas now that wasn't possible.  It was a strange birthday in that sense.  I'm used to having my womb mate with me.  It made me sad that we couldn't celebrate together, but I know he had fun with our cousins and Aunt and Uncle over the weekend.  They took him to dinner and stuff, so that's good.  I just wish we all could have been together.  Anyway, tonight I'm going to dinner with Michelle and Misty for a birthday dinner, so that should be fun.  Alright, I gotta go get ready.

Birthday cake and sunshine...-Ash
