I'm a little behind on my blog so I apologize for that! I ran a 5K on Saturday, September 7 with my friend Katrina. Mary and I took Adalynn there and met up with my mom. I picked up my packet and got to the starting area with Katrina, her husband, her brother and one of her friends. Mom and Mary took Adalynn to the finish line so they could see me cross it. The race course was hillier than I'm used to, which was good in my opinion. The first half of it was in a neighborhood but the second half we ran on a really pretty trail, which was a nice change of scenery! I ended up finishing in 26:38. I came in second place in my age group!!! Katrina did awesome, too! She improved her 5k time by 5 minutes!
